Details of Upcoming Evo X MR

If you’ve been saving for the Evo X, now you can widen your options as Mitsubishi is set to introduce the Evo X MR. Scheduled to hit the streets of Japan later in 2008 and possibly the streets of Malaysia in god knows when, Mitsubishi has introduced technical as well as visual upgrades to help enhance the subtle looking Evo X.

The technical upgrades help squeeze an extra 20hp out of the already highly strung up engine, this hikes up total output to a formidable 305bhp. Driven by an uprated version of Mitsubishi’s SST double-clutch transmission but sadly the Evo X MR remains less powerful than the FQ-330 and FQ-360 UK spec cars, but on the bright side, it is the most powerful SST driven Evo X in the range.

Stiffening of the rear end shocks has effectively improved handling and visual upgrades include extra vents and air intakes on the front end to help improve cooling.
