Simota's stainless steel stock replacement air filters are made from high grade stainless steel with a unique EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber frame which is molded using the most advanced one-piece extrusion technology. Simota's corrugated air induction walls ensure maximum air volume and precision fit. By using corrugated walls we are able to increase the surface area promoting increased air flow and increasing engine horsepower up to 7%. With Simota's solid construction, corrosion resistant stainless steel and extreme hot and cold weather resistance, it is no wonder we back all of our filters with a million mile warranty.
No oil required
All of our air filters can be run dry or for extreme conditions and increased filtration
Simota air filter oil can be used.
Durability:
Under hood temperatures now soar upwards of 300 °F and that affects engine performance. We tested a Simota air filter against a popular brand we will call "K". We heated both filters side by side up to 300°F for 20 minutes. The Simota filter was fine, no distortion, while brand "K" was beginning to melt, burn and becoming distorted. Not satisfied we increased the heat up to 347°F and after 10 minutes removed both filters and attempted to fold them in half. The Simota filter emerged unharmed while brand "K" filter was not so fortunate. The rubber lining split into pieces and the glue permanently dislodged the filter.
Simota air filters on average weigh 39% less than the competition and with deeper pleats Simota delivers a higher air flow rate and better construction at a lower price.
