The anti-hijack function works in such a way that the moment you are forced out of the driver seat, the anti-hijack function swings into action. No need to flip any switch or press any button. There will be also no indication from the system that it is in anti-hijack mode. But the moment the hijacker apply the foot brake, your car will be immobilised in a couple of minutes. The system siren will whirl and the hazard lights will flash to attract attention. You should now at a safe distance away from the hijacker and yet not too far away from your car. You are safe to seek help. SMART incorporates the latest innovative high security technology in the system. The system immobilises the vehicle through interrupting the power supply to 3 essential circuits for starting the vehicle.
To start the vehicle, the system will need to identify the code in the plastic transponder card, each transponder card is uniquely coded. The code combination is larger than 18,000,000,000 billions. It is almost impossible to break the code by electronic code scanning. The card is without battery and need no maintenance.
To make it more difficult for the thief or hijacker to reconnect the interrupted circuits, the wires from the control box are black in color hence it is difficult for the thief to identify the 3 pairs of wire that break the circuit.
Made of alloy metal, the case of the system's controller is hard to break. The circuit inside is difficult to tamper with.
