bro,
i also used ps3 for my ae101, 195/55/15 just change it last month april at klang. they quote me per pcs 250 which have included the wheel balancing and alignment. initially, i feel this tires very soft compare with my previously ps2,
For me it feels solid enough =D mine is 195/50/R15 and yours 195/55/R15, so it's definitely "softer" around the corners =D

Haven't tried before the PS2 though, so couldn't comment.

Bro., are you sure you were on PS2 (15") or the old PP2? As far as I know PS2 come in from 17" and above. If old PP2, then yes, those tyres had harder sidewall then the new PS3. PS3 is more comfortable and grip better too.

The Hankook shop in Sha Alam Section 15 is called Auto City Tyres & Car Sdn. Bhd.
Can call Alvin Lam 016-606 5222 or 03-5523 0788
For 225/45R18 can use either V12Evo or S1Evo....or check whether new S1Evo2 is in already?

Not sure if Quicksave have good price for Federal tyres, but they have plenty of Nexen tyres.
Can call Leon directly at 012 2020817 also.

would like to ask some question....

I am driving a Myvi year 2008 n now my tires are almost time to change (almost bold). My current tire is 195/55/15 and is Falken ZE912.

1st question. Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max and Continental CC5 which should I go for?
2nd question. what is the difference between 55 series and 50 series?
3rd question. If I change from 55 to 50 will it affect fuel consumption?

For question number 1. I still got other option in my mind, Silverstone Atlantis V7, Dunlop Formula D01 or China brand tires.
Or you guys have any other tires to intro? my budget is around RM230.

50 series aspect ratio means the sidewall height is 50% of your tyre width.
This means 195 x 50%= 97.5mm
If 195/55 then 195 x 55%= 107.25mm
From your original tyre size of 175/65R14 (Myvi) 195/55R15 diameter is bigger by 2.1%
If use 195/50R15 the overall diameter is smaller by 1.23%
Do you have tyre scrapping problem in your rear wheels? If not, then can continue using 55 series. 55 is more comfortable only. 195/50 will handle better but more bumpy ride.
Between the two, 50 series will give you better FC (very slight and depends on driving style too) and better pick up because of the smaller diameter.
What are your priorities in the tyrres you are looking for?
Since you have budget already forget the China tyres. Take a look at Yokohama New C-Drive 2.
For performance Hankook V12Evo also good.

if im using 225/50/17, whats the best tyre to choose?
What priorities in your "Best"? Comfort , handling, etc....
Some prices for your reference....
225/50R17
Goodyear F1 Directional 5 - RM544 Quicksave USJ (Sep 11)
Pirelli P7 (XL) - RM620 Vigor Auto Setia Alam (Mar 12)
Toyo Proxes C1S (XL) - RM495 Vigor Auto Setia Alam (Mar 12)
Yokohama Advan dB V551 - RM550 Ban Hooi Klang (Dec 11)

I see... I dont hav any priority, just want the tire to behave in dry n wet days n not so noisy...My car I am using adjustable so the back I make it a bit higher so did not counter any scrubbing to the tires.. just want to know for 50 series how bumpy will the ride be? is it even a very small hole on the road we will still feel it?

Also depends on the tyre model. If soft sidewall type, then even 50 series may not be that bumpy, then again at what air pressure you are using also plays a part.
Michelin PS3 and Hankook V12Evo are pretty good tyres for dry and wet. Hankook should be slightly cheaper

CC5 are Conti entry level tyres, more for comfort. GY Assurance fuel max should be mid level and more toward durability and less rolling resistance. If you want wet and dry grip you will need to get UHP tyres.
