Recommended tyre pressure

i pump 30psi for front and rear for my 195/55/15

as told by mechanic, during hot day driving, tyres expension and gain pressure, and to tolerate with malaysian's road which have a lot of manhole, and big lubang.

30 psi will do the best for the bad condition road.

dat day i go pump 40psi , then drive thru those lubang, feeling so stone.

after gain advice, now 30psi, no more, no less.

i think only through experimentation you will be able to find something that suits you as there are just too many variables. start off with the tyre pressure stated at the door which is usually around 200kpa (irregardless of your current tyre/wheel size) and adjust accordingly but try and not go past 250 as grip will suffer as well as increasing the harshness of your ride. for example, i'm driving a 20v ae111 and i'm using 195/55 R15 all around. i keep a balanced tyre pressure all at 220kpa front and rear (stock recommendation is 210 front and 200 rear) cos it suits my driving style which prefer a bit of oversteer and also helps with lowering the fuel consumption.

happy adjusting but always start with your recommended tyre pressure from the car manufacturer!

for correct tire pressure go visit ur manufacturer's website n there will b a list of it...
but it is incredibly important to take into account ur vehicle's weight...
im using Toyo T1R and pumping 40psi both rear n front coz my car is heavy...
go n do ur research online(which i did) n u will find tht many of tis tire shop ppl dunno what they r talking about...

yea, agree that the tire pressure is based on car and individual.

If the tire is wearing out faster on the sides, then it is under-inflated.
If the tire is wearing out faster on the center, then it is over inflated.

dont over pressure new tires...they will look like out of shaped doughnuts later.
