Introducing a new easy-to-use Single Clutch Assembly aimed at light tuned cars utilizing racing bred feekback and incorporating the ORC engineering expertise. We are proud to introduce the 409D and 309D series.
Torque is efficiently transferred while maintaining a mild and preeminent pedal feeling. Price has also been kept to a reasonable low. The three types include a quiet minuimum backlash type, a damper-less type for improved response, and a high friction coefficient disk type. The Single Clutch Series can accommodate a wide variety of driving styles and situations;
Quiet Type with Minium Backlash Sound:
- We have incorporated an optional quiet type clutch that minimizes the typical backlash sound produced when the clutch is engaged on Lag Drive Type Clutches. Sound has been reduced by installing coil springs to press down on the pressure plate. In addition, the springs allow the pressure plate to return quickly to the cover side improving clutch disengagement.
Damper-less Type for Optimum Response During Clutch Meet:
- The standard type Clutches use a disk with dampers for overall ease of use but an optional Damper-less Type has been added for those who prefer high response during clutch meet. The produces a much more direct feeling.
A High Friction Coefficient Disk Type Clutch for an even more stable Single Cluch:
- Torque has bben improved even more by using this drag race developed high friction coeeficient disk.
