My 2 cents: As a guys, I don't see the need to fight for a girl like you are fighting for the last chicken wing during a BBQ feast. If she likes you, the rest of the guys should not be an issue, or competition. Fighting to prove who has more time, money or assets to impress a girl would not be worth it. Unless, say, you have all the time, money and effort, then go-ahead. Then again, I find it's totally derogative.

On my 2nd 2 cents: Why don't you study more, get alittle smarter and make alittle more money for the ONE whom would appreciate you most.

To add on to what you've said, we just have to focus on our area of control. While we can't use jedi mindtricks to force girls to fall for us, we can work on ourselves to entice them.

Not exactly mate, I'm not the romantic type. All I know is that being funny is a very good first impression as it serves as an excellent ice-breaker. By funny, I don't mean that you should put on a clown suit and do a dance. It doesn't hurt to have a sense of humour. It helps women feel more at ease and comfortable with you. Oh and I can't stress how important it is to dress well. It's not about what you wear, it's about how well you wear it. Presentation is the key to making a good first impression, and the first thing a woman sees is what you look like. You need not look like a male model. Just appear neat, tidy and confident. The second thing she'll notice is the first words that come out of your mouth. Like I said, if you have a sense of humour and can make her laugh, it helps breaks the ice, and you're in.

Totally agree to the humour part .... Many happy relationship started off with a good laughs .... I guess one have to dress to the occasion and to the type of females you are with. I notice one thing with girls, apart from a nicely coordinated shirt and pants, they do facinate on men with nice shoes ... Though I am always on my sneaker, huh ...

Nothing much in it lah. I just try to be as observant as possible and also draw on the experiences of other's. Also talk to women some of the time to try and get some feedback. Be careful about the funny bit though. I know some people who think they're funny but aren't.

To all the guys, the most important is to be yourself, but be tactful during the course of your date.

Girls like these don't deserve your time of day. You know what they hate most? When you don't give them the attention they think they deserve. Just be as cold as she is. Act as though she's just another girl. She'll be left wondering why she could not catch your attention and get you to drool over her.
