saw two dyno result on type r and euro r h22a accord, both cranking almost the same somewhere 210 - 212hp and whp about 144hp......how come soo much power lost? (banzai mag)

the one which only change the air filter to k&n did better than the one which did ECU mod, exhaust n etc.....

wrongly tuned?

Power loss around 32% is maybe due to wear & tear, tuning and most of the thing..where got stock Euro R so power?. I've been sitting inside my fellow friend 9500rpm 215whp CL1 for test-drive before(he drove la, nto me). Don't feel so impressed actually.

So, conclusionly all Euro R good for daily driven to pasar, masjid, pasar malam. JUst enough to fit fishing rods for weekend fishing trip with children etc. hehehehe

actually as the manufacturer spec EURO R or prelude Type S was 220HP ..but this is the horse power on crankshaft ... when the power that transfer to wheel ..mean on wheel horse power just left 70% of it only ..that y when we dyno it will less to the manufacturer spec ...

donno from where i read this....auto lost is about 30% and manual is half of it - 10-15%.....understandable on the crank depends on the health of the engine...but isn't all R badge comes with lsd? at least helping on power lost?

215whp is great.....! imagine it's cranking somewhere 250 ~ 270hp.....isn't h22ar great? heheheheh

u dont feel it because it's heavy ler aja....or u need a skyline to replace ur euro r? sell it to me....

actually all the car also will loss around 30% hp on wheel ..auto n manual also the same ..cos i hv read the mag they dyno the altezza with manual ..also loss about 30%

some more need to consider the side factor like ur wheel weight n the fuel octane ...this also will affect the on wheel hp...many of the dyno machine will require to fill in the diameter n weight of wheel then just can accurate ..but depend on which type of dyno machine la

yes ..i'm using Splitfire 10-50w or 10-40w ..i 4got hehehe..if u brave try use 5-40w hehehe...
more nice respone ..cos if the oil more thick ..the resistance of engine oil will bcome more ...but more kau can tahan panas hehehe ..can more long lasting
