Anyone know how differentiate dis gearbox which one cum with fd 4.4 and which one fd 4.7...its cum from b18b engine...thanks...

only the S80 comes with the 4.785 from the INTEGRA TYPE R DC2. i believe its a rojak setup. B18B(non-vtec block Si) with a vtec head and a S4C(ek9/ek4) gearbox.

there should be some stamping or label on your gearbox to state it.

if that s4c come from b18b its from domani if not mistaken. n come with 4.2FD

S80 also comes with 4.4 final drive (year 96-97 ITR) :sad_smile:

bro, EK4 n EK9 S4C is different on the LSD type rite ? EK9 use helical rite ? what are other differents ? gear ratio all same ?

the EK4 S4C final drive will not bolt up to a CTR/ITR lsd. u will also need the bearings for the lsd and the correct shims to adjust clearance. so just fit the lsd from the CTR/ITR with ring gear on it and Y80 bearings.you'll have to take out the EK4 S4C cup bearings holders in the EK4 S4C gearbox.

hmmm...thats mean...have to take tep R FD together with the LSD ler ?....ok...ok...btw, is changing from EK4 4.4FD with LSD to EK9 4.4FD also with LSD(but helical one) a good decision ? considering the cost....n its both the same 4.4FD ...
