Do you have the spec for the amp if it is bridged? I am assuming that the amp should be bridged only in 4ohm. With 600W max in bridged, the RMS would roughly be about 300W. This should be sufficient to power your DVC woofer. Unless, you really wanna power it to 500W RMS.
Just make sure you wire the DVC so that the woofer's total impendance is 8ohm.

.. i think the quoted/ suggested retail price for deh-8650 is RM2,480.. its 2004 model.. maybe, it is cheaper now :cool:
