did you do a compression test b4 in your engine? you think with your set-up. how many compression ratio should be? is it 9.5 ratio?
I have the same effect after installing this crank pulley.... :_: ...

he..he...yesterday alrdy drive my car....very nice beb! d response very cun! so far not rembat lg la...but when i put my feet on pedal..seem my car are ready to run...even a litle press on my pdal...d engine give a very nice rsponse...still not rembat lg la...Ah yoong tak kasi...dia suruh running in dulu...head ni lama tak pakai...so dia nak kasi main itu valve spring dulu...so rembat step byt step...btw ..i got my car alrdy....very rindu that car....but i got a lot of job to do....all wiring dah kena cabut dek ah yong...coz itu hari tukar wiring...dgn aku punya lampu sport horn ..semua tak jalan ...semua nak kena rewired balik...pergh banyak kerja...beb!!

Eh, forgot ask you, when you change cluth got lighten your flywheel ah? that day I went to sun eng hup, I notice auto transmission also come with flywheel like manual, hehe

Dear forumer, we always heard people 4G92 SOHC change to 4G91 DOHC engine head, but anyone here heard 4G91 DOHC change to 4G92 SOHC head?

got lighten....but very little..less then 300g only...
no point lightn alot becos using 8.5'' clutch....

ussually modders will go from sohc to dohc, hardly the other way around.. existance is possible but unlikely lah..

hmm, 300g also quite alot oledi.. the effect should be tremendous.. is ur engine ok after doing ur clutch? takut imbalance somewhere than start vibrating pulak.. btw, i felt like response better after change clutch.. maybe the Daikin ones are lighter than Paraut clutch kit, or maybe my butt cheating me.. hahaha

Have such thinking cause
1. SOHC no need so kacau on engine oil
2. Low End better
3. Mid range shud be better cause 16 valve
4. Top end suffer abit but nevermind...seldon rev.
5. Lower Mainteance Cost on Timing Belt and Bearing

300g considered alot??? :confused_smile: damn...my light weight crank pulley at least another 1000g lighter....damn shud be damn responsive compare to lighten flywheel...hahahaha ---> racun partyjoe again

just sceemed off the small outer ring only... but my butt dyno say like i lose pickup abit lar.... the 'pull' which i have in my previous clutch set is now less... but mid n low end performance inproves alot... maybe the 91 flywheel wit 93 clutch combo is not dat 'keng' lar...
maybe like u say.... imbalance aredy now... becos 93 flywheel is alot heavier then our 91 lar...

DOHC also is 16 valve what, mid range i think DOHC should be better..

the outer ring is the most effective, the further it is from center of rotation, the heavier it is to accelerate.. skimming also need to know abit of engineering, cannot buta2 do punyer.. hahhah..

n mayb wear n tear edi so lose a bit compression also dunno...

partyjoe...u mention using 8.5" flywheel but stock 4g91 8" flywheel wor..?
when my mech recommend me thios combo is coz the grip...not to say repsonse or anything..mayb u try ur 0-100km time n c...i think should be slashed at least 1sec...

wirafly...u damn #$%^ rich lah..u should have just go for a sohc 4g93 which givs plenty of torque at low end rpm...4g92 head also same using hydraulic tappet mah...also kacau 1... sumore the head is a bit bigger..later got leaking issue eh...
btw...i think flywheel lightening will have more effect than crank pulley coz flywheel is the main part tat transfer power to drivetrain

ijoe...congrats...after run in bring all 4g91 gang test tau...kasi pump 1 full tank remember..ahahaha

Also one of my consideration...but main sikit sikit here and there....straight jump :shades_smile:

yong... i where got mention using 8.5" flywheel dei... only 8.5" clutch set.... hehe..

tajulsan... actually the outer ring is not from plan view... its outer from side view...
if u see from the side, if can c a ring near the center... only took off that 1...

remember i told u guys i just changed my timing belt... i think the poor pickup is due to tuning... need to to tune timing n everythg back lar.... becos over sceeming will not cause poor pick up rite....

Hi, need some help here. I'm driving Mira L2S converted kancil. MY car used to have white smoke problems. First, went and replaced valve seals but its not original ones so still got smoke. But didn't know its not ori daihatsu oil seals. So i thot my piston rings KO adi, so i went for overhaul of the whole engine, and true enough, not only my piston rings KO, my pistons oso KO due to lack of fuel.
