Dear all,

To all those who've changed their brake rotors, what brands are you running, and where did you get them from?

Please share your experience , and why would you recommend them to others?

Thx pablo & jun,

I was thinking AP Racing too

Any idea where to get it? I'm guessing Singapore

Most shops in Msia are almost hopeless when it comes to aftermarket parts for Evos

Either that, or they have limited options with ridiculously hiked up prices

Wow got so many options!!

Slowboy,

Where to get DBA in kl?

Kampoon,

I don't see CT9A in Brembo's website for Brembo Max

Also, heard lately there are lots of immitation Brembo rotors going around in the market...so I would avoid this unless getting direct from dealer

hehe....sorry bro...

Bermbo Max only available for normal car as for performance upgrade purpose..

For Evo..u can only get Slotted or drilled options, u can check the part # on the websites.

Brembo - Discs Catalogue

can you share with us ur car current torque and HP count ?
My wild guess that ur car is too powerfull and need a better stopping power..if brembo can satisfied you....you better change the rotor and caliber in one go...

My 2 cents

DBA front set is RM1.5k (price was quoted early this year. not sure if it has changed), disc size is same as original.

Didn't buy it coz my rotors were still ok but it's in my list of disc upgrades coz it is considered cheap compared to endless or project miu.

Can't remember how much is the rear set though. :hmmmm:

You can call either James or Akram to confirm the price again.

Kampoon,

Bro , my evo is not crazy fast, but fast enough for me hahaha
Don't need BBk at the moment, so rotor upgrade for now

Slowboy/Mizunori

Thx for the info on DBA, I believe the one to go for is DBA 4000/5000. I'll check with Dragstar for availability

On a side note, anyone has tried Dixcel FS series ?

aycy,

Any idea which model he was using? Maybe his setup wasn't good enough

The whole brake system doesn't depend on one component alone, combination of different pads/calipers/rotors/oil will give you varying results

After my Optimum Exora detail, I decided to carry out a more in depth trial of the Optimum line of compounds and polishes on a black car.

Started off with an Optimum No-Rinse (ONR) wash.

50/50 after ONR.
