vr2turbo ,
what do you suggest as a good street performance tyre for 15" with good tyre wear rate.. just name me most of the good ones and value for money if you dont mind : D
anyways a friend of my told me to get yokohama parada.. said it's cheap and really good in wet and dry.. what ur opinion?
Don't know what is your budget, but tyres that are good in performance are:-
Hankook V12Evo, Federal 595Evo, GY F1D5, Michelin PS3. Prices should be in that order too.
Since you did not indicate the size also, Roughly the price for 195/55R15, Hankook should be in the region of RM210 to 230 to Highest the Michelin PS3 at RM270 to RM300 depending where you source the tyres.
If cheaper as you mention Yoko Parada Spec II, this tyre thread design is fierce, asymmetric in pattern, I would say good dry grip. Wet grip have mixed reviews, and aquaplaning resistance is so so only because no straight grooves and neither directional to cut water. One thing it is cheap but made in Philippine and is very noisy.
Another you can look at is the Kumho KU31.
Falken ZE-912 used to have a good following but recently some of the sizes had their traction rating changed from AA to A only, and some mention lack some grip already.....
There are others like BS RE-002, Yoko S-Drives and Toyo T-1R but these are in the over RM300 range.....
