This is considered the best DE around. High Quality Diatomaceous Earth from a Freshwater source in Peru. Food grade, Suitable for human consumption (unlike the cheaper poultry grade diatomaceous earth available elsewhere). Wear dust mask or similar while handling powder as inhalation can be damaging to lungs. HUMAN USE: For internal detox, take 1-3 teaspoons stirred in water daily. For internal parasites, take a larger amount short-term. In case of strong detox effects, reduce dosage and increase very gradually. Always have extra water available. Avoid skin contact with dust as it has a dehydrating effect. In case of skin contact, rinse with water. ANIMAL/PET USE: Mix a small amount in with food for internal parasites, Ensure extra fresh water available. For infestations, sprinkle around skirting boards and under pet bedding area. Brush away excess as the fine powder can clog up vacuum cleaner filters. Not usually recommended for direct external application with pets due to dehydrating effect (unless advised).
