Evo camshaft in 4G61T...

Im planning to put Evo camshaft into my 61t head replacing the old one and going to set it wit adjustable campulley...any comment on Evo camshaft in 4G61T engine ...need to know some info about this setup especially power increament and pro & cons oso...:hmmmm:

i have no dyno sheet to prove it, but u can really feel the power increase after installing evo cams...

no need adjustable campulley also ok.

evo 3 standard cams if a lil bit better bro...cant provide u the chart but try ask
u fren around...we try it before.its much more better.

EVO 123 not shared the same cam shatf arrr? How to know or compare evo 123 and vr4 cam? i s there any part number on it??

u can easily identify the cam by looking at the alphabet(n few dots which i couldn't remember) of each cam. example :=

evo1- "J"
evo2- "C"
evo3- "B"

pic below showing a stock e2 cam

p/s=im selling off my e2 cam in de marketplace..hehe

halo bro marz2....bee 4 this i use 4g61t engine with evo3 cam.....diffrent with vr4 n evo cam is.....vr4 cam u boleh tarik pendek saje.....but evo cam u boleh tarik panjang....evo cam lebih smooth sound dia....vr4 cam garang but no top speed.....evo cam smooth sound but have topspeed ....lifting head pun tak sama bro....i saran u pakai evo cam for your 61t bro mesti cun punya...:biggrin:

what if 4g61t with complete evo 3 head ???

not recomended..it will drop ur compression couse e3 head chamber cc bigger then 61t head..

if u want better topend go for 4g67 head,same chamber cc as 61t head but bigger intake port like vr4..u maintain ur compression but bigger intake port.

more interested in pick up actually n kinda stuck at this current mod 61t with td05...
if more interested in pickup maintain ur 4g61 head n go for evo3 intake manifold..

or go for 4g67 head with eci multi intake(mirage 1.8 intake)

how about vr4rs 240hp head plus evo3 intake manifold?

Just a suggestion ya....

VR4 RS/Evo 3 intake should be a good mod. Superb flow
4G67/63 NA cams with adj. cam pulley- Duration and lift much higher than turbo cams...But low end and idle not as smooth......but mid range kau...

already retired play turbo...now just cruising with honda accord H22A Auto...sold my saga
to my cousin...now he's build that saga to a very powerful car...no more 61t...now its evo 3 in that saga with very high performance piston, conrod, cam, clutch, turbo, custom made abs from titan (special order for saga), roll bar etc. bla bla....many mod in progress...strengten body la, modified gearbox laaa and many more...he already spent near RM50,000 on that saga..dia cakap mau racing wit that car :stupid:

most of the parts was bought new...i already pening wit him...why he spent so much on that saga...neway his car now...so im just looking oni to that car now...missed my old saga 61t... :frown:

Ok..... cheers to that....but your cousin very enthusiastic.... keep it up..... but SAGA body abit out of design. No matter how much he pour into it....Used to drive one though....did a bit here and there still.... wira body better..... copy evo sebiji.
