Today I send my car for routine service & change my spark plug. I've been using the plugs for almost 1 year. Quit surprising, when the plugs are removed from engine.

Plug no 4 & 1 shows more burn mark compared to 3 & 2.
I noticed lately the exhaust fume to have petrol smell more than usual.

Anyone can share with me on this? :hmmmm:

Nothing wrong with your plug, clean burning in your combustion chamber.
I guess u got the wrong idea to determine a plug's health level. First we should check the tip of the plug but not the core shell colour. If u notice the plug tip is contaminated with bits of carbon means your plug is too cold ( use a hotter plug ). If u c the plug tip is black means rich mixture. If u c the plug tip is cherry red means the plug is too hot ( use colder plug). If u c the plug tip damage or wear off enormously means it has improper spark or detonation. For best result recommended to use Denso PK20R11 or Denso iridium IK20.

Thanks for the guide. After 2 days, I notice the exhaust fume smell less petrol.
Anyway is it possible for the A/F ratio differ for each cylinder? Or it can be other factor.
I just made assumption based on plug 4 & plug 1 as they are more darker color.

hey all,
I'm wondering if it's legal to remove the front passenger seat. cuz want to reduce weight.
Will the car still be road legal?
Thx in advance.
