If you feel that u dont like Proton have the same model as Mitsubishi Lancer GT, you may change your interest to Toyota? Nissan? Subaru? they doesnt have the problem which having the same outlook as Proton & Mitsubishi do. Look back year of 1993 which Proton Wira launch, this model is also the same as one of the model from Mistubishi Lancer but with modify on the tail lamp.
Dont you forget that Mitsubishi have tight relationship with Proton ? Its all about business only. Try to think back is Mitsubishi forcing u to get Lancer GT? Did u sign an agreement with Mitsubishi that stated they cannot sell their model to Proton? Did they have an agreement say that the Lancer GT pattern is share with all Lancer GT owner? NO right? this mean that Mistubishi can sell their pattern to who ever affordable to buy it. you should thanks god that you can own a vehicle to shorten the distance from one place to another. Imagine the people in africa, they walk from one place to another.....

why proton doesnt produce Neo turbo? I think I read sumwhere at paultan they are developing renault 1.8 engine turbocharged... where does it go?

perodua rebadge move to kenari, mira to kancil, passo to myvi,
naza rebadge carnival to ria, 206 to bestari, caren to citra,
china rebadge gen2 to europestar & many more....
heard proton gonna rebadge passat & galant in their coming models....its business, as some said, nobody force anyone to buy Proton....if don't like it, stay away from proton...its your choice, don't have to find lawyer or what...live with it, life goes on guys!
mitsubishi took persona and exora to rebadge in japan....soon. so anyone wanna complain bout it?
just view it as a car...a car with 1.8 mivec engine selling below 80k. in market now, rm80k for non national car we only can get 1.5 city and vios. maybe going for korean cars u can get 1.8 but i do think personally ppl prefers mivec compared to korean engines...
anyway, kia carnival was once sold for rm163k but Naza rebadged it and sold it way back in 2003 as Naza Ria for rm99k only. did anyone commit suicide becos of it or did anyone sue NAZA? its business agreement.
Mitsu agrees to let proton produce it...so who's fault and the funniest thing is, the rumours of Lancer Gt rebadge being spread since mid of 2009 but some still buying it at year 2010 and now jumping about it...lets be fair ....its always your choice coz the money is yours.

hmm..im a lancer gt owner here, i feel hurt abit la, juz bought it last year, tau nak jadi mcm ni, if i tau, sure i will get altezza since last year.
but...it will bring benefit to me, price or service will get more2 cheaper.rite now for normal service aje will cost me rm320(change oil+labour+oil sump rubber seal).imagine for CVT fluid change will cost me rm800?
rite now my front wind screed got little crack, MMC quote me rm1200 for the replacement.so rite now juz wait inpira out the market and get the inspira windscreen, charge insurance kaw2...ahahhaha!!!
