Strip BMW M5 Tail lights to your Mercs W211? :hmmmm:
Nope...

Its for my personal car...

Its fully paid for, just fill petrol & whacked it!

Got extra money, i"ll do some cosmetic mods to make it look outstandingly good,

I like to drive something which makes heads turns when i pass by, real good feeling and im not actsy as they sometimes call me...

Trying to get it in tip top shape before Christmas,

If not enough time, before Chinese New Year....:listen::biggrin:

Buy some lamp that has reputation and good quality. Good things not cheap though.
Certainly dont want to drive around with leaky rear light that doubles as aquarium. So damn malu...

For me, I spend my money if the item is broken. If not broken, then dont fix it. Spend on something else.

Then its just me.....

Oh! tail light aquarium I have seen many. That day saw one even half filled head lights. The wonder of it, is the headlight still function. I thought with the heat and water could have blown or fused....:hmmmm:

Spend a bit more money for a better quality instead of the cheap accessories shop ones. Bought mine online from Eagle Eyes. At least they got 12/15 months warranty for their product. Been using mine for a year without any problem. No 'tail lamp aquarium' yet :touchwood:

hye LA..
actually it's depend on the product quality..
if chepo ayam brand, the lens will fade, led burn or maybe moisture leak..
maybe you can consider much known brand such as eagle eye.
quite pricey but it worth it.
Checked the price...

Is RM450 per pair reasonable?

After months of surveying the price, I would like to share with fellow Zenthians that I finally

managed to find a pair of new, in the box

crystal rear lamp for my W210

Its branded EAGLE EYES

And has got 18 months warranty from the date of purchase, together with the official warranty card

Also managed to get a "good deal" because they charged me only RM399 inclusive of the 45 minutes
installation.

Service was good, 4 experienced guys handled my car as it has 4 portions of lights, 2 on the boot lid
and another 2 on the body.

Anyone wish to know where the shop is may pm me..

But only ONE setback....

I wanted the crystal red and clear which is RM200 more expensive, but got the crystal light smoked and red instead...

Dont know why the great price difference....?

Anyone knows why smoked/red is so much cheaper than the clear/red even its same quality, same brand ?:idea:

Yes, me too. If the original lights are still good, why change? They are already well proven good quality anyway. Many replacement lights also actually makes it look worse than original. Looks are also so subjective & superficial, so I won't spend much unless it really2 looks too damn good!

Depends, there are many who will change just for looks, or to be different......

No GST, and SST will not apply until further notice.

I think excise duty & import tax WON'T be removed anytime soon. The new government still need *some* income from taxation.

So who's buying? I think izso needs a car that goes from point A to point B, instead of staying still.

Man that Volvo V40 T5 is no joke, and price competitively to whack BMW 1 series. V40 T4 is very good value but why oh why no keyless option.
