There are many things that we are excited of for this upcoming Geneva Motor Show and one of them has got to be the unveiling of the new ApolloN supercar. After Gumpert’s bankruptcy, Apollo Automobili GmbH vows to reveal a “brand new Apollo” at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show and they even released a couple of images, teasing the appearance of this new supercar.

Knowing how the previous Apollo was a complete monster, Apollo Automobili’s claim of making “the fastest road car on the planet” is something we definitely should pay attention to. Then again, Apollo should keep in mind that Bugatti is also unveiling their new Chiron at Geneva which rumours are saying that it can reach a top speed of 467 km/h.

In the latest series of teaser images, Apollo Automobili showed the rear deck lid with a carbon fiber roof scoop and central spine. Also noticeable is the rear wing meant to provide downforce at the rear axle, as well as a carbon fiber splitter at the front. More carbon fiber can be found at the front air intakes and the centre locking wheels are wrapped in high performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

As a recap, the old Gumpert Apollo was powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine from Audi with an output of 750-horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque. Zerotohundred takes only 2.9 seconds and it only takes 8.8 seconds to reach 200 km/h from standstill.
