Offering customers a package of supreme performance, responsive handling and luxurious comfort, Motor Image Malaysia, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia had recently unveiled the all-new Subaru Outback into the local market.
“As Subaru’s flagship model, the all-new Outback provides customers with second to none performance, safety and luxury,” said Mr. Glenn Tan, Executive Director of Tan Chong International Ltd. “The new model combines luxury with innovative Subaru technologies that enhance the driving experience, efficiency and safety. We hope this will make the Outback an excellent value statement for customers in the Asian region,” he added.
The Subaru Outback is powered by a four-cylinder 2.5i-S boxer engine and combines the comfort of a passenger car with the long-distance capabilities and load space of an SUV. The Outback projects its toughness via its bold, rugged body shape, bigger tires and muscular fenders. All the enhancements done are not just for the looks as Subaru also managed to reduce wind resistance by improving airflow, resulting in reduced fuel consumption at high speeds.
In addition to the Symmetrical AWD system, the Outback is also fitted with X-MODE. This new feature is capable of enhancing driving performance on poor roads through optimized integrated control of engine, four-wheel drive, braking and other functions on slippery surfaces. Both the traditional active and passive safety performance have also been enhanced and the airbags have been expanded and upgraded to provide maximum safety to both driver and passengers.
The new Subaru Outback is now available for booking at all Subaru Showrooms across Malaysia from 29th April 2015.
