Powered by a mid-mounted, supercharged Toyota 1.8-liter engine, this track car has 217-horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque in its disposal. Lotus had also created a motorsport-specific map for the car’s ECU, in addition to the aerodynamic enhancements like the front splitter, barge boards, winglets, rear diffuser, floor extensions and rear wing. Put that together with adjustable dampers and springs, the Elise S Cup R is about 4 seconds faster than a standard Elise over a 2.2-mile track.
