Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors, has come just provided their tyke of a car, the i10, with a minor facelift refreshed with seven new colours and a host of new features bundled with it, regardless of it being a 1.1L or 1.25L variant. This is their new Limited Edition i10 Colourz.
The i10 Colourz is now enhanced with a front bumper garnish, skid plate and a new set of side-skirts. This version also gets a set of newly designed sports wheels. With seven fun colours to choose from – Lavender Pink, Passion Purple, Tangy Orange, Aquamarine Blue, Peach White, Ice Silver and Carbon Grey – now you’re spoilt for choice when deciding on which will be your favourite colour!
Among the interior upgrades introduced in the Limited Edition i10 Colourz are leather seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel. The leather seats come in two-tone colours, black and orange (in cars of Tangy Orange and Ice Silver body colour) or black and red (Lavender Pink, Passion Purple, Aquamarine Blue, Peach White and Carbon Grey body colours) with matching stitching on the seats and leather wrapped steering wheel. The new interior look definitely adds to the sportiness of the car while the cushion leather seats ensure luxurious comfort for both the driver and passengers. *The leather seats and leather wrapped steering wheel is only available with the 1.25L variant.
Other interior upgrades include rear centre passenger headrest for additional comfort especially for long journeys, a mirror fitted to the driver’s sun visor for convenience and an optional GPS upgrade (for only RM2,200). Transporting stuff is also made more convenient with the 60:40 foldable rear seats. This Limited Edition also gets a newly designed luggage under floor tray.
Good safety features are definitely necessary with the fun characteristics of the i10. Among the upgraded safety features are 8-inch rear drum btrakes in place of the previous 7″ drums, and a rear centre seatbelt with Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) replacing the static seatbelt.
The driver’s seatbelt system has also been upgraded to include an adjustable anchor type, allowing the driver of the car to select the most appropriate seatbelt height so that it is properly positioned across the shoulder.
Manually adjustable headlamp beam level has been thrown into the mix, along with a pair of powerful rear fog lamps. Even the brightness on the instrument cluster is now adjustable.
The i10 Colourz now allows you to deactivate the front passenger airbag with the availability of an on/off switch, especially when transporting young occupants in the car and the inclusion of Isofix child anchor has been fitted on the rear seat for greater convenience.
The i10 is designed for engine efficiency, optimised fuel consumption, low emission and class-leading performance. The i10 is also equipped with the Motor-Driven Power Steering (MDPS), which not only improves the steering quality but also enhances the fuel efficiency of the vehicle.
This Limited Edition i10 Colourz 1.1L is priced at RM51,388.00 while the 1.25L is priced at RM56,000.15 (on-the-road Peninsular Malaysia). Both the Limited Edition i10 Colourz 1.1L and 1.25L are now available for booking and viewing at all authorised Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors sales outlets nationwide.
