Put yourself to the Test by taking part in the Viper Challenge 2013 at SIC this 17-18 August!

Set to challenge both the participant’s physical and mental strength, the Viper Challenge is set to be one of Malaysia’s most exciting events taking place in 2013. Organized by Original Bootcamp Sdn Bhd, this challenge will take the participants through a grueling 20km challenge course set to take place at Sepang International Circuit on the 17th to 18th August 2013.

Expecting to attract a total of 20,000 participants from across the region, the Viper Challenge will not only be taking place at the circuit itself, but will also be incorporating the surroundings with man-made obstacles being put in their way. The obstacles have been carefully designed and built by a team of Australian specialists led by Ben Young, all to give out the best challenges to the outdoor thrill-seekers.

“It is designed to take you out of your comfort zone and enter the challenge either as an individual warrior or as a part of a team. Whichever way you enter, you will finish understanding that only teamwork will get you across the line, without it you are unlikely to succeed”, said Selva Kumar, the Director of Original Bootcamp Sdn Bhd.

Also present during the launching ceremony was Sepang International Circuit’s CEO, Dato’ Razlan Razali, who was very pleased in having SIC to host the event.

“Through this event, the world will notice that SIC is able to facilitate various kinds of events. We do not only organize the very best international motorsports events, but other sports and lifestyle events like the Viper Challenge, concerts, marathons, bikeathons, weddings, and others”.

The Viper Challenge is based on a wave format, where only 500 participants will be released into the arena every 30 minutes. Participants are expected to clear all the obstacles around three to four hours. One should take note that this challenge is not a race, and there are no prizes await those who cross the finish line. This challenge aims to be a personal challenge to the participants where finishing them will reward them with a sense of achievement and satisfaction.

Application forms for the Viper Challenge could be found in the NST starting from today, with attractive discounts available for early birds.
