The red storm brews in the distance! And by that we mean Asia Ducati Week (2012) will soon take place where Ducatistis from all over the World will converge here in Malaysia to make it the largest gathering of Ducati owners and enthusiasts in the region from 18th – 23rd October 2012!
Based on the biennial World Ducati Week that’s held at Italy’s Misano World Circuit earlier this year in June, saw a sea of red Ducatis roaring through the beautiful city of Misano Adriatico where a record-breaking 65,000 motorcyclists from all over the world celebrated the Italian brand together.
And so, Malaysia will once again play host to the Asia Ducati Week 2012 (ADW) where the excitement is promised to be even greater of that in 2010 with more parties, a true taste of the Ducati lifestyle, more places of interests to visit in Malaysia and more activities in the company of passionate Ducatistis are all but a highlight of what is to come.
Participants will be will be treated with a dinner and welcome party with the Ducati Corse Team featuring international DJs, alongside the Ducati Street party along Jalan P. Ramlee where the you’ll be able to paint the town ‘red’. But it doesn’t stop there with more action as the Ducatisti will ride and journey through Malaysia, stopping off at the historical city of Melaka and as usual there’s also going to be a convoy heading down to the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) for the MotoGP race where they will be able to mingle and enjoy the race in a special “tributo” section, prepared by NAZA on the grandstands.
Selected participants of the Asia Ducati Week will also enjoy the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) conducted by no less than 2 certified Italian riders from Ducati Motor Holding and Ducati riding legends of Troy Bayliss and Loris Capirossi will be making a special appearance who will be available to provide their weight in gold in terms of riding tips and tricks.
From 11th – 24th October, there will be 4 designated DUCATI RED ZONES in Kuala Lumpur for the Asia Ducati Week where customers who patronize any of these zones (requiring you to don Ducati shirts) will entitle you to promotions:

All of this comes after the success of the inaugural 2010 Asia Ducati Week, where Malaysian Ducatistis will once again be joined by fellow enthusiasts from Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, New Caledonia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and various parts of Europe in the hopes to form a greater storm of which was started in 2010.
