Polish manufacturer Arrinera finally unleashes their very own Hussarya supercar that’s been named after a 12th century Polish cavalry, the Hussars, after four years of development.
So it looks may take after a certain manufacturer from Sant’Agata, Bolognese, but one thing that helps to differentiate it apart is its active spoilers that deploy under braking and behind the Hussarya’s cockpit lies a 6.2L 650bhp V8 that helps catapult the 1,300kg supercar to 100kmh in 3.2s with a top speed of 340kmh.
The Hussarya’s two active spoilers serve as an air-brake at speeds beyond 150kmh that gets activated by applying the brakes. The spoilers deploy up to an angle of 50 degrees.
The Arrinera Hussarya will now be undergoing a battery of tests in Spain’s Applus IDIADA before it heads for production sometime in 2013, to be assembled in Poland by a division of Germany’s MAN Ferrostaal.
