Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has once again been recognized as a ‘Nissan Champion Distributor’ by its principal, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Japan). The certificate signed by Mr. Hiroto Saikawa, Executive Vice President of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. was an acknowledgment to ETCM for achieving ‘excellent performance and demonstrating outstanding operational improvements’ for 2010.
The certificate was presented to Dato’ Dr Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of ETCM by Mr. Toru Hasegawa, Nissan’s Regional Vice President responsible for Asia and Oceania Operations at a ceremony in Thailand.
Being nominated as a Champion Distributor for the second consecutive year, ETCM is also one of the distributors from around the world that were presented with the “2010 Nissan Champion Distributor” acknowledgment out of Nissan National Sales Companies evaluated in the General Overseas Market category. Nissan’s dedicated internal committee members conducted an intense evaluation around the world to determine the “Champion” distributors. The criteria for this evaluation include performance, processes and management.
