We’ve just got wind that the replacement to the Pagani Zonda might be called the Huayra, which retains the company’s tradition of branding its cars after the famous winds of the world. According to Italian website Al Volante, Pagani has registered the tongue-twisting ‘Huayra’ name.

The Huayra name finds its lineage from the equally unpronounceable South American language of Quechua.

While it may seem like such a small find in the build up to the unveiling of the Zonda replacement, it’s still pretty significant considering that little is known about the carr, save for the bespoked twin-turboed V12 mill by AMG. Still, taking in consideration the Zonda, we’ll bet our left testicle that it’ll have enough ponies to power a small town and alter the Earth’s axis of rotation every time it does a burnout.
