Next thing check for any major leakage (small ones like the distributor o-ring is normal). Open the oil cap and look inside the engine on the valvetrain, make sure it's clean (shining silver color, not red). Metal color indicates that the previous owner takes care of lubrication and services on time. Usually if you're really interested, the chop shop people will start the engine for you. Rev up the engine & see whether white smoke comes out. Just my 2 cents.. maybe others may add to the checklist..:_:</p></blockquote><p></p>
