The New Mitsubishi Galant Fortis (JDM)

Back in April, I posted some pictures about the new Mitsubishi EVO X along with the coming Mitsubishi Galant Fortis. Now that it's been unveiled, here are more details about the new Mitsubishi</p><p><img border="0" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/uploads/davidv00/Mitsubishi_Galant_Fortis/galant_fortis_2008%20(2).jpg" width="500" height="315"></p><p>The Galant Fortis will be a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) specification, that comes with 2.0 DOHC 4 cylinder engine, bolted toa 6 speed sport mode CVT paddle shift gear system, similar to the Lancer 2.0 GT. from the photo, the backside of the car looks thick, and high. Not so sporty. Reminds me of ah beng or mat motor jacking up their Wira ass up, like those Rally car....

The Mitsu Gallant should look Sporty and should promote the look of low, wide ground hugging stance.

Well, maybe, the designer considered abt having the car for WRC.....

not so much diff compare to the new lancer....... the engine??? why they don put the old V6TT???? aiyo such a waste...... better buy lancer GT than galant. tried the new lancer already....... quite nice la..... new civic rival!!

what's the difference between this n the lancer ? I think it's basically the same car, just with a different name. Something like acura rsx and honda integra

Apparently, the Gallant Fortis (in Japan) is what we call Lancer. Different specs as well. Unlikely that we'll see the Gallant Fortis anywhere else. Non-JDM models will be sold as Lancer.

with 4wd...........!!! now I'm drooling!!! nice Mitsubishi, although i'm not a mitsu fan, but i like it quite a lot. Last few models of Lancers and Evos are boring like hell, now it's totally different......nice one!!!
