Talk, why do you buy Continental cars ?

Basically, most of conti user were nuts about car and they're enough with Japanese made....

I don't own a Continental.. But If I have the budget. I will surely get one.. Why ?

- Reliable
- Hardy
- Unique.. Not a lot on the road
- Stlye. Continentals have mostly those squarish look I like
- BAD BOY. Squarish continentals, make you shiver !
- Sleak. Squarish continentals, looked like Macho man in TUXEDO !
- Tyres + RIms, No one will steal yours, since continentals have Weird Tyre size and PCDs.
- Traffic. Easy to manuer around. People are afraid of you.

Do you guys (Continental owners) agree ?

safety is something most cars are lacked of. but euros have em prioritized long before dohc was ever being famed by japaneez. and another thing that i love about euros is that, it feels so good at high speed.

actually if nicely calculated, euro parts are cheaper, in sense of it durability and long lasting period. you see, we may have to change the suspension which may cost around rm1.5k per full complete set, as opposed to rm600 for locally made ones. reason being is due to the fact that it last so much longer and we may not be changing em for the next 6 years or so. correct me if i am wrong.

build quality
it's not a yuppie's car.


it might not be as quick and fast as some jap cars with equal displacement... but who cares. there's much more to be appreciated.

Why I got my car?

- It was cheap (Cost vs benefit issue)
- It is safer (4 airbags and ABS... No other 1.6 has such features!!!)
- It is built better
- It is rare
- Parts are not that expesnsive compared to BMW's and Alfa's
- Reliable
- Rare again... Dont want to wind up looking like the car next to me.

Well... Its a nicer car than my Waja albeit older. Better too.
