My Subaru Wagon

this two picture are from internet not mine

This car is FF can switch inside with Gear to 4WD High or Low.
This car have a lot problem,hard to get part,part also quite expensive and always got problem need to repair.But this car is powerful.

So i need to convert to another engine who cna recommend me what engine should i go for it?
and around how much?

i wan is
around 1.8 to 2.0
easy get part
part's price reasonable
performance
Can pass in JPJ

Anyone recommend me what engine should go?
and another question is it
Buy a half cut got include gear box or not?
This car gear box dont know why hard to changing gear also.

believe it or not i saw 1 car like this converted the front bodypart n engine
to subaru impreza version 5! unfortunately when i ask the owner about jpj approval, he said its impossible to do. he done the modification just for the sake of his satistaction! but 1 really damn nice car especially the air scoop n STi's exhaust! i saw the car somewhere in pj.
