Spotted : Malaysian Army's Uro VAMTAC Humvee Clone

I spotted this large behemoth convoy going pass my small town of Kampar. It was quite a sight to behold, as I wouldn't have expected Humvee's to appear anywhere other than in the Gulf and United States. Well, it does seem that, it's not a Humvee, but more so a Uro Humvee clone called VAMTAC 4x4. So is this our army's new toy? Check out the awesome top mounted machine guns and fat-ass offroad wheels. Quite a sight to behold! Sorry I couldn't get awesome shots, becase I was taking it with my iPhone!

this is not the american humvee.just looks almost the same.its a spanish product,they call it the URO VAMTAC.

This is an Uro Vamtac and no, its not supplied or assembled by Deftech but imported and assembled by Master Defence or Masdef in short. Our army purchased around 85 units with various configuration like an anti-tank missile platform, an anti-air missile platform, 40mm grenade launcher and .50 cal machine gun carrier.

Recently our army purchased another 14 Vamtac configured to tow our 105mm howitzer..
