Hi All Sifu's,

I am planning to get a new car, maybe Satria Neo 1.6. Want to know if it is possible to bore & stroke 1.6 to 1.8 and then turbocharger the 1.8 engine with all important turbo equipments with proper cooling? Is this possible with the original engine block?

As I was read this forum about satria neo engine modification, I came to a conclusion, the satria neo engine will blow out because this reasons: -

1) the engine can get hot easily
2) there have been some campro engine blow out
3) boring the engine from 1.6 to 1.8 will make the engine block thinner
4) the engine block is aluminum block not cast iron block
5) turbocharging the engine with high boost on 1.8 already bore from 1.6 will blow the engine.

I think better change the engine to evo4 or gsr engine, but I'm not sure if it will match the satria neo engine bay perfectly. Or is it better to modify the campro engine as N/A?

lets say i go for n/a, can i get custom made piston or stroke to make campro to 1.8 and modify the n/a to 220hp or 240hp , can it be done ?

I think I won't do any engine transplant, because not fun as upgrading the ori engine step by step more fun. Just wondering, how can we make the campro engine run on high rpm, like the Mivec 1.6 & Type R 1.6, do need to upgrade to piston, cam or what can be done so the engine runs on high rpm?

Just found out the reason of Mivec 1.6 could run at high rpm, the reason is the Bore x Stroke: 81.0 x 77.5 mm which make the engine Oversquare because the bore is larger and stroke is shorter and Campro 1.6 has Bore x Stroke: 76.0 x 88.0 mm which make the engine Undersquare because the bore is smaller and stroke is longer http://satrianeoclub.com/Smileys/default/grin.gif.
