checked the absorber-not leaking, rebound seems ok
are you serious in changing spring? i though they last a long time..
can i add a top mount bush instead?

Hi,

My input. Hope it'll help.
Some absorbers are gas filled. You will not see any leakages coz it's gas.
If it's oil filled, then leakage diagnostic is the logical thing to see.
Reccomend action is to change the absorber since from your write up I assume the absorber have been used quite a while.... Don't resort to spring change first as I've made the same mistake with my Satria GTi...

Good luck. Let us know after you've managed to resolve the issue yeah?
Rgds

Best bet would be to replace both as dying springs can and will shorten the lifespan of ur of your new shocks.

if you could live with it...just add silicone spring buffer.
Rubbers one tend crack and sag.

springs normally have lifespan around 10years of abusing or might be shorter..so my opinion..change new springs...
or cheaper solution like ken says..just add springbuffer (rubber/silicon)
