Shell Malaysia has launched its Shell V-Power 97 ‘Win Weekly at Shell’ contest that will see over RM 3 million worth of prizes, that include limited edition Ferrari key ring sets presented in custom-made cases, given out to lucky winners.
In conjunction with the launch of the contest, Shell sent groups of its ‘Men in Red’ to high traffic areas in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kuantan and Penang to distribute contest forms as well as to engage the public to partake in on-the-spot contests by answering Shell trivia questions to win prizes.
The contest runs until 6 April 2011 and motorists only need to spend a minimum of RM30 on any Shell fuels, Shell lubricants or Shell Select store purchase in a single receipt and attach it to a contest form before dropping it in the entry box. A purchase of Shell V-Power 97 or V-Power Racing will entitle the customer to a double entry.
Contestants will stand a chance to win some fabulous prizes on a weekly basis, with a weekly grand prize of RM30,000 and a Ferrari key ring set, three prizes of RM3,000 together with a Ferrari key ring set, 300 consolation prizes of RM300 accompanied by a Ferrari key ring set as well and 600 RM50 Shell vouchers.
“We sent three lucky grand prize winners of the Shell V Power 97 Cash Contest, along with their partners, to Abu Dhabi on an all-expense paid trip, to watch the final race of the 2010 Formula 1 season. Also included in the exciting itinerary was their visit to the world’s first Ferrari World Theme Park,” said Azman Ismail, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd.
“So in order to keep the momentum going strong as we welcome 2011, the next upcoming ‘Win Weekly at Shell Contest’ will see more than 13,500 lucky motorists driving off with exciting cash prizes and limited edition Ferrari Key Rings sets, worth a total of more than RM3 million, over the 15 week contest. This is one of the highest ever number of winners that would be rewarded by Shell in a particular contest,” added Azman.
