Hey zth ppl

This is a project i have worked on for nearly 7 months now, this was my first car then and for 14 long years i had waited to seriously project this car to my liking. Its nothing extreme, but isnt entirely mild either. I wanted a street look, keeping it as base model as possible.

the initial ride was beat up as hell, one day i just sat down and worked on my drawing board for 2 long days to come out with the look i always longed for.

here's the picture before i started the project last year (dec 09)

yeah thats what a 14 year old look like, especially after 4 year abandoned.

so 1 day i after i plonk in the L5 engine, i had trouble with the idling... went searching for spark plaug and ended up at Monster Garage (then) ... had a long chat with Vincent, the owner.... showed him my design, and 1 month later we started the project...

This was the result after a long gruesome 6 month of hardwork ...

now officially the shop has relabelled as GT Proshop,

anyway i would take this opportunity to thank both GT Proshop for their sheer professionalism on the build-up, especially chief builder Wah and Wah Hooi Paintshop for the excellent workmanship on the final touches...

it feels good to get so many thumbs up everytime i drive this baby out..

its been a week since i collected the car, now i want to hear comments on the actual product from you guys out there...

hehe yeah, its part of the original RV4 bumper, so i decided to keep it unique as the bumper is such rare item, if i customed it then it might be the only one...Thanks!

Im planning on more detailed photoshoots on later dates as i just got it back a week, theres still a lot of touches to be done...even the photos i posted was taken by my handphone hehehe... will post as soon as i get em, keep watching this space ....Thanks!

well thats where i had to work very closely with the fabricators, for more than 2 months which i nearly inspect the car everyday, explaining, and sometimes even hands on.. the arch was built around the wheel, so its as close as i can get then, but currently im running on safe height, tyres are streched out on my 16inchr with a 7j and spacer ....are you ready for this?..... 2.5in or 75mm with center cone support

yes the tires stretched both on the front and back, and yeah they call that hippari (I just found out bout that word a minute ago...hheheh)

hey palen, thanks for the suggestion, i reckon the altoworks youre referring to would be the Suzuki Altoworks.. i googled it and yeah would look good on this car, but for now id stick to errr... the softie look, dun wan to get others tailgating me...hhhehe now if dont look properly will think the car is a stock kancil...anyway its in my list if i decide to go that way, thanks!

Danz... wow thats kinda flattering.. i dun dare say that its the nicest, but id say the most factory looking mod, well according to most ppl who see's the car. As per the day i revived the machine ive downed 5k on the motor and almost 10k on the exterior.. still planning on my interior built up.

,the front bumper is considered very rare. RV4. and a custom version of that bumper is ultra rare then.. hheheh

wow, now up to proto car.. wah flattered like hell man... anyway the makeover totalled at almost 10K, paint is expensive as hell.. i showed them the above concept drawing, explained thoroughly on want i was looking for, supervised and hands on at some parts. the chief fabricator luckily was a very patient man.. if you r serious about building a kit you have in mind then probably you could hit up to GT Proshop (monster garage) and look for Vincent, price is very much fair ...and his hard work is now all sweet compliments to me now..thanks!

its actually kinda cheap rims ler, Lenso Project D1 16"x7J pcd 100 / Kumho Ecsta SPT 165/45 R16
Please do understand the rims looks damn good on hippari style, strecthing the tyres makes the outer lip stand out. a wider / higher profile tyre might not looks as good, the selection i made was based on oversizing the rim on a compact car, so it gives maximum effect. price with tyre was if not mistake 2.2K for all corners.. hope this helps

Hey JC, thanks on the compliments... like i said earlier, dun dare say it the most outstanding, hehhe i love it for sure and appreciating the comps i get from ZTHians.... as for the design, yup im kinda proud on that side, Chromaworks is my label for Auto designs, so if you see parts label with these then its from me... and its very rare and hard to spot,most on headlamp designs...

Kenny if I may make a suggestion, how bout painting the lip of your rims the same color as the body and the spokes black?

Not a word in the dictionary could describe my expression when I see this car...

4 thumbs up....very clean and organized kit. Clean & poised lines. Originality at its best. Fresh feeling, every parts on the car compliments each other very well. If I were a foreigner and I see this, I would thought that it came as a limited edition car which is so good to be true. Good choice of wheels and nothing fancy and bling on the car. My vote would be definitely on this ride if it was in a car show.

I won't mind getting this car if it's up for sale....

salute to you kenny, for your effort on trying something different and fresh. Very creative indeed. Malaysia could use more creative minds like yours in the automotive industry.
