:D HEy,,, i saw Yam Tat Wah face stuck on a poster of car enhancing device.... so call : MAGIC JET..

Anybody got idea how to DIY it?
According to the sales rep, magic jet is a kind of mineral that will release some radiation and enchance the combustion of engine... quick interesting!

But, when he showed me that MJ, i almost can believe it. What he showed me was just a flat plastic hoding an aluminium packet inside. That thing can last for 5 yrs. The sales rep said it's install in the air filter box. Just place it anyway in the box. No maintainace and nothing.

I am veli interested to know wat is inside.. my guessing for MJ is: Silica gel to remove accessive water in intaking air.

Hope to hear from any wise man here about how to DIY it!

Cheers

This thing cannot be DIY i think......
Got to know this product from a accesories shop owner. This is a type of extra layer filter to add on to your current filter box. Is use to filter up the water wich is in the air, so when go into out engine is much more smoother burning (without more water mah). :)

i think a little bit of water is good. water is made of H2O..hidrogen and oxigen which is good for burning process. that's why our car can be slightly more powerful early in the morning or at night as the air is damp(water punya pasal).

Water doesn't inprove combustion la.. although it has hydrogen and oxygen, these two things don't break up in the combustion chamber.. the engine just boil the water and it'll come out as steam through your tailpipe.

Humid air has less density than dry air, that's why dry air is more rich in oxygen compared to humid air.

"Humid air has less density than dry air"

this is misleading. <_<

Anyway, this MJ stuff contains materials that emit infrared radiation, which is claimed to be able to increase the energy of the oxygen molecules, thus resultuing in better combustion. We saw alot of similar products which emit IR, some working in the fuel line, some in the fuel tank, some in the intake...

transfering energy from radiation to a molecule is a physico-chemical reaction, which takes time depends on the raction constant. How fast the energy can be trasfered? How fast the molecules pass over the radiation source?

It sounds more logical if such product is applied in the fuel tank.

giving wrong information.. this is suppose to b opposite... dis product can only b used on stock air filter.. cannot b used on performance filter.. if u can DIY dis into ur performance filter.. the magic jet company would like to hire u as their researcher..
tried dis item.. bought for rm150.. unit price.. retail price rm188.. my fren let me try.. he said if no usage can return.. my car rm20 can do 80km.. wif magic jet.. rm20 can do 100km.. other than tat.. nothing much like the magic jet company claimed it can increase power by 30%..? turbo kar? i din install coz no $.. returned already but the warranty card still wif me...
