With the Suzuki SX4 Sport Crossover having been introduced in Malaysia since 2007, Suzuki Malaysia Automobile Sdn Bhd (SMA) has just provided it with a few exterior, interior and electronic revisions for 2012.

These revisions include the a new front bumper and grille with a touch of chrome accents around it while it sits on a new set of 16” alloy rims wrapped with 205/60 Bridgestone Turanza ER300 tyres and the interior receives a new set of fabric seats and door inserts to help bring in a breath of fresh air.
Under the hood still lies the same 1.6L (M16A) 4-cylinder engine that provides 88bhp at 6,000rpm and 156Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. However, SMA has included a new safety feature that’s dubbed – Brake Override System, which enables the vehicle to come to a complete standstill, should your foot suddenly cramps up and ends up pushing the accelerator pedal to the metal or perhaps the accelerator pedal got stuck.
Should the system detect that both pedals have been pressed, the system will then override the throttle. No left-foot braking allowed in the revised SX4 from now on. The SX4 also comes equipped with dual SRS airbags up front, ABS and EBD with Brake Assist (BA) for safety.
The revised and fully imported from Japan Suzuki SX4 Sport Crossover for 2012 is priced at RM91,888 (OTR with Insurance) and comes in your choice of Sunlight Copper, Snow White, Star Silver, Super Black and Mineral Grey colours.
