hye all,i hope someone can explain this.

im using satria and yesterday i change my brake pad by myself(D.I.Y),
after all complete,i test the car to do the bedding-in.(rataan lapisan :D )
i drive and brake for maybe 2 kilometres la..not braking so hard...then i come back home and thought everything is ok..BUT..when i touch my break disc,it is hot as hell, even my rims is hot!! :o only the front wheels, both of them..the rear wheels is ok..and there a smell..like something burning..i think maybe because of the break oil that get to the disc...and when i break..the oil burn..maybe la..but the main problem is the heat la..so hot!!like my rim just went back from hell !!

Any opinions?? <_<

u need to bleed ur brake fluid...
when the rims are hot meaning that ur brake is jammed...
that y u smell the burn n felt the heat....
better repair it or u will kill ur clutch plate aka burn ur clutch.. :o

new brake pad is thicker... so u have to remove some brake oil from de resevoir so dat it wun be too full...

when de pads r new... it new a run-in period... according to instructions.. u need to drive to 60 kmh.. n brake moderately until 20 n repeat for a bout 5-6 times...

dats my experience lar.. others i duno.. :)

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

I would like to check, how well is the aftermarket brake for 285mm rotor?
Is it about the same as stock?

my concern is, now my WHP is near 200 and i still using stock brake system.
my wheel is using 4 bot instead of 5, 2nd reason is i using 15" rims.

so if i using 285mm rotor type and branded caliper ( in complete set)
will it help for near 200 WHP? ( example evo, wrx, CTR are above 200hp and yet their stock already more then 320mm)

any recommend complete set brake for 15"
