Hi guys,

Need some help or advise....my honda's rev is damn high during idling after a constant drive......seems like the blardy cable is stuck or the butterfly doesnt close properly......the rev will be back to normal after i tap the accelerator during idling.....damn annoying man......can anyone tell me what to do man.....thanks guys...

most probably is time to change the idling vavles, inconsistent revs, sometimes high sometimes low, might due to idling vavles fail to perform normally, so you better check that first

but funnyler....when i tap the accelerator...it goes back to normal which is 1000 rpm....thats during idling ler......it seems like the cable got stuck or something man....anyone had this problem b4???

no only on cold start...actually cold start is OK.....only after i start driving.......seriously it's like something is stuck....when i free the gear, the rpm drop till 2k...then i need to tap the accelerator so that it falls back to 1k....

or u check ur throttle bodyla if have leak or not, try to change new gasket for d thottle body first

Just wondering.. where did u service yours? Any service center would do? Where 2 go if wanna do tuning.. like Proton owners got SC's which have the MUT device.. for Honda? I don't think Honda SC entertain's JDM Honda's.. TQ

For me..i go to the same workshop that i always go (Cheap labour)..located in Sunway. If u want to service yours..u can go to any MODs workshop..They shud know..i think! :)

throttlebody jam

buy wd40, spray generously inside n outside the TB, near the hinge, bolt of the butterfly

if still jam, time for a rebored TB
