Corolla AE100 and AE111 Steering Column

Gents,

Does anyone out there knows whether we can swap the signal and wiper toggle switch from AE111 and install it into AE100 steering column? Is the mounting bracket same for both?

The other ques is the entire mounting assembly. Is the AE111 mounting assembly (including the steering column height adjustment) similar to AE100 steering column mounting assembly. As far as I know, AE111 steering column height adjustment is from the left hand side, while AE100 is at the left bottom side. Hope someone out there can help me and it would be great if anyone has pictures to show because I can't see it from my car even though i removed the bottom cover of my dashboard..

just changes overall steering column from ae111 to ae101, save time, and not need to headache .

change the whole dashboard and all mounting assembly but need to cut and re-welding the console bar...

ok, seems like it's not possible to match the steering column bracket.

How about the wiper and signal toggle for AE111 and AE100? Compatible?

If you want to used ae111 wiper & signal toggle, you need to use the steering column bracket, if you want to use steering column bracket , you need to cut the steering column a bit & re welding. conclusion: easy if u just use an original from ae100. Mine--> change whole dashboard, steering colum bla..bala..bla..
