Yerp, thats a monster. Masterpiece.

But sadly, Bisimoto is only making it for the SOHC non-VTEC F22aX series.

I'm trying to see if he can make one for the H22a.

get him to make one for the triptronic too,...

How come it's going curly one ? It's for turbo ke !???

I thought the better flow the better rite ????

Look at the latest Civic tap R......more towards straight line woo....

Check out how a F1 header's look like and you might understand why Bisi Ezerioha does his headers this way. He also offers a very long and straight headers too. It's something to do about flow etc, I dunno. You can check out his weblink http://www.bisimoto.com

you are damn right bro.

Bisi is a SOHC fan. and he owns a badass Insight as well.

Still waiting for response on the H22a header.

The long straight header after the exit is based on the theory of fluid dynamics, which means air volume does have inertia, and having it accelerate upon exiting the exhaust ports help 'scavenging', or pulling the intake air in upon valve overlap. The more important factor for this is the length, and probably the curves are for clearance issues rather than any performance gain. Maybe someone should ask Bizi about it :P

At least that's my understanding of why straight exit headers came about.

Though the main reason as I read from various sources, as to why it isn't done for most cars is because of clearance issues.

Apart from clearance issues, yes, scavenging was a factor in his designs :D

hey bro, long time no see.

Hmm...what a coincidence, I was curious about Bisimoto H22a header as well so I drop them an email.

Here's the reply from Bisimoto Sales staff I got:

"Hi,
Our prototyping will begin in late September. It takes about 2 months to come to market after that. Kindly touch base with us in November, or provide your name, contact number, and type of header wanted to get added to our waitings list. Thanks.

I hope I can remember to follow up with them in Nov :burnout:
