wuzup peeps,
i'm just want to know some information.
my ride is a 1976 Datsun 120Y GX hooked up with a C20 1.5 engine. tune to drift.. but i drift for pleasure, not competition.
i thought of hookin up a turbo in the future.. what turbo should i get then? will the fuel consumption go high? possibly it will huh?? but if it's hooked up to a C20?

a TD04 from a 1.6 mirage engine would be nice ...

turbo's dont consume that much fuel .. matter of fact its a system desined to save fuel ... unless u mod it gila babi and use it as daily car sure la fuel consumption high ...

a few people has transplanted CA18DET engines to old skool nissan rides and can be drifted successfully...

engine transplant might sound expensive at first, but in the end, it'll be cheaper n more satisfying.

yea... too bad i just change it to a C20.. sux..:banghead:
it's powerful but... not there..

wait. have u locked ur rear axle? cos even 4k 1.3 toyota also can drift already... c20 should be powerful enough to drift on wet roads...

my friend 120Y he bought it for rm 6500.. which engine come with ca18det.. very power wo...stock only.. GSR mod some add afc neo la. and other minor mod..

also cant chase the datsun...

i think too power to handle hahaha..

my other friend using NA engine.. dunno which.. and he weld to full lock.. it does drift well....

in my hometown there one datsun wagon.. with stock engine, and he drift well too IN WET ROAD...

try to weld it to Full lock 1st... i think the power is enough to drive at wet road...

how to tell the mechanic???:hmmmm:
how to change it to cantonese?? i'm not that good in cantonese:argh:

hahaha of course cannot drift if u didnt weld the rear differential. use skyline engine also cant drift... dont waste ur time on turbo n other nonsense. bring ur car to workshop to weld first. just tell ur mech u want to "welding axle" n ur mech will know what to do.

actually now already can drift.. heehee.. but i guess it would be better and adviceable to lock it rite?

if u say can drift, that is actually not drifting. after welding rear diff, only can say proper drift.
