‘Ring wars continue as 2012 Corvette ZR1 is six seconds quicker w/video

They might stop to catch their breath but the Nurburgring wars never really go away and Chevrolet have laid down the gauntlet once again by unleashing their 2012 Corvette ZR1, that sports some upgrades, on the ‘Ring to shave some precious seconds off its already incredible lap time.

The car used was equipped with a set of optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Zero Pressure tyres, that together with the Performance Traction Management (PTM), managed to shave six seconds off the previous lap time of 7:26.4, bringing the ZR1’s new time to a staggering 7:19.63.

The fastest lap is currently the Pagani Zonda R, 6 seconds something

Agree with stasis21. Pagani zonda R is the faster so far if I'm not wrong. Zonda R achieve 6.14.x, correct me if wrong. In TopFear Zonda R also beat Ferrari FXX, TheStig is faster then Schumacher? Hmm...
