Enjoyed the previous Nissan Skyline R34 overload post? Since it was the 3rd of April, we tried to limit the appearance of other cars so that they would not be stealing the limelight from the R34s. But that does not mean we do not appreciate or forget them altogether as it is in this post where we show our appreciation to the other JDMs attending the event.
As it was the day of the Skylines, it is appropriate for us to start with the R34’s siblings. The Malaysian Skyline community is a close-knit group where they will always be supporting each other to make an event a success.
To further diversify line up at the recent Godzilla Day, a couple of familiar R32s made their way to the meet and they definitely did not just stay in the pits all day.
We are not sure whether they are unpopular or just really rare in Malaysia, but compared to the R32 and R34, we rarely see the R33 on the streets roaming around.
Luckily for us, this Godzilla Day served as a platform for the owners to bring their monsters out from hibernation and the amount of R33s that turned out was pretty impressive.
Although the R35 is not considered as a “Skyline”, that does not mean the crowd will not welcome the appearance of these twin-turbocharged V6 cruise missiles.
In fact, it is at Godzilla Day that we could closely observe how Nissan had gained valuable expertise along the years and brought an evolution to the GTR badge and making it a supercar killer of today.
The S-chassis will never grow old and we could not seem to get enough of them.

It would be nice if we could get this Evo X to do a head-to-head shootout with an R34.
