If you like the Levorg and wished that Subaru will make an angrier version of the wagon, then your prayers is about to be answered. Subaru had actually previewed the concept version of the Levorg STI at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon and unlike the BRZ tS, the Levorg STI will actually get proper performance upgrades like the WRX STI. In the concept form, the Levorg STI gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter boxer engine mated to a six speed manual transmission.

Aside from the power increase, the Levorg STI is expected to receive a number of upgrades in the visual and aerodynamic department such as a sharper look, a more aggressive bodykit, enhancements on the handling, as well as some proper interior upgrades.

There was no word on how much horsepower this concept car is equipped with, but rumours have estimated it to be somewhere in the 300-horsepower range, similar to what the WRX STI gets. The current Levorg comes with either a 168-horsepower 1.6-liter engine or a larger 2.0-liter with 292-horsepower.
