After the fatal crash that involved Paul Walker and Roger Rodas in Porsche Carrera GT, the blame game started to take place to find who was in the fault for the crash. Although it is the one blaming Porsche that takes the spotlight, there was one settlement with another party that had gone under the radar.

According to Reuters, Jeff Milam, Meadow Walker’s attorney, announced that she has reached a settlement with the estate of Roger Rodas, the man who was behind the wheel of the Carrera GT during the crash at the 2013 accident that took both Rodas’ and Walker’s lives.

This settlement amounts to USD 10.1 million and all of them will go into Meadow’s trust fund. Milam stated that Rodas was partially responsible for the death of the 40-year-old actor’s death and what his teen daughter received is “a fraction of what her father would have earned as an international movie star had his life not been tragically cut short”.

The settlement was actually reached far back in December 2014 and was unknown until Milam’s statement as it was sfiled under the name Meadow W. While this lawsuit had nothing against the ongoing lawsuit on Porsche AG, Walker’s daughter still intends to sue the automaker “for producing a vehicle that was defective and caused Paul Walker’s death”.
