After seeing the new facelifted A180, A250 and A45 AMG being launched a couple of weeks ago, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is back to welcome another model of the A-Class family into the line-up. Dubbed as the A250 Motorsport Edition, this limited-edition model features a unique design inside out, combining the styling elements of their AMG Line and a performance-oriented aero package.
“Available in very limited numbers to commemorate the successes of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 team, the special “Motorsport Edition” model will particularly appeal to local racing fans in Malaysia,” said Mark Raine, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Passenger Cars, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
The new A250 Motorsport Edition is easily distinguished by its petrol green colour highlights running from the front and rear bumper trim. The AMG light alloy wheels also get the same treatment of the petrol green accents, as well as the rear aerofoil and the exterior mirrors.
The special touches continue into the interior with the green surrounds at the air vents while contrasting petrol green topstitching runs on the dashboard, floor mats, the armrest in the centre console and the armrests on the doors. The sports seats are upholstered in black leather/DINAMICA microfiber which also gets the petrol green decorative stripes.
Based on the AMG Line and the Sport model respectively, the Motorsport Edition comes as standard with the Night Package, the LED high-performance headlamps, the AMG Exclusive package and the Audio 20 CD. Customers are able to choose from cirrus white, cosmos black, polar silver, and mountain grey finishes. The Mercedes-Benz A250 Motorsport Edition is priced at RM 256,888 OTR without insurance.
