well tis walkie talkie is nice... i last year get myself on jus for rm160.... well it can work wit motorola talkabout from channel 1 - channel 7....... but if u all wan loud n clear try use channel 4 n above... cos motorola channel 1 - 3 is in low watt so de distance not far...

U all can get de freq code from internet.. jus try to search then u will get motorola walkie talkie channel 1-7 code... then u jus need to set it in ur tk-1118....Bu t remember... the motorolo in which channel pls put the privacy code to '0' in motorola Walkie talkie..... If not the kenwood walkie will get nnoisy sound n not clear..

well if u all wanna know de code... come n find me... n join me in WOC cheras TT... i can explain more about tis walkie working with morotola.... Cos there is sum small problem.....

Does one unit have a different model code ending with a different number? Like one is 5720 and the other 5728?

The ones with model numbers ending with 8 are for a different market and use a different set of frequencies, so they will not talk to each other.
