Since the 12 Hours of Sebring is just a couple of days away, BMW North America had unveiled a special livery for two race cars that will be taking part. The BMW Z4 GTLM cars raced by BMW Team RLL will be finished in the iconic livery once seen on the IMSA 3.0 CSL back in 1975.

The 1975 IMSA 3.0 CSL does not only look good, it had also dominated the 12 Hours of Sebring back in its days with Brian Redman, Sam Posey and Hans Stuck behind the wheel. And these legendary drivers were also reunited on Amelia Island’s Concours d’Elegance where the unveiling of the Z4 took place.

Other guests invited during the launch were Jochen Neerpasch, the first managing director of BMW Motorsport GmbH, and BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt. The first presentation laps in the new BMW Z4 GTLM with the anniversary design were done by current BMW Team RLL driver Bill Auberlen.
